Evening/Weekend Phone Consultation
The FSAP office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm. Most phone and in person appointments are scheduled during this time. However, we understand that crises and urgent concerns don't always happen during office hours.
FSAP partners with Cornell Health to provide responsive, professional phone consultation whenever the FSAP office is closed. This ensures that you can call FSAP anytime of day or night, every day of the year, and speak confidentially with a licensed counselor or health care provider.* Our on-call providers will help you determine what services you need, and how and when to get them.
When you call after-hours, our answering service will answer the phone. Just leave your name and the phone number at which we can reach you. Please stay by your phone: the on-call provider will return your call within 30 minutes. If you don't get a call back, please call again. On rare occasions, the correct phone number gets lost in translation.
If the FSAP phone number does not connect you with the answering service, something is wrong. Please call the Cornell University Police at 607 255-1111. The dispatcher will contact the on-call provider directly.
